Description:

Location: Sausage Lake, in Trout Creek, Ontario

This newly renovated comfy cottage is located on the beautiful Sausage Lake about 15 minutes from the nearby town of Trout Creek. It is also not far from Powassan where you’ll find some great local shops and restaurants to enjoy.

The cottage interior with open kitchen, dining, and living space is finished in traditional tongue and groove pine, and outfitted with comfortable furniture to relax upon while looking out over the lake. Sink into a warm and inviting change of pace from the day to day bustle left behind. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy and the dining area seats eight. The lovely 10 by 40 foot deck with canopy also faces the lake, offering another relaxing spot to savour your morning coffee or fire up the barbeque in the evening.

Three bedrooms are located off the living room. The first has a queen bed, the second has a queen and the third bedroom two sets of bunkbeds, a twin over twin and a twin over double. Along this corridor, there is a four-piece bathroom.

A level, open, grassy area also on the lakeside, offers a large open fire pit, great for sing-alongs and smores.

At the water, the dock is perfect for slipping into the beautiful sandy bottom lake. A raised deck at the water’s edge also has a canopy and seating. Sausage Lake is fairly quiet with very few motorboats, creating a sense of peacefulness. There is approximately 125 feet of shoreline. The water is about five feet deep at the end of the dock and the dock gets sun all day long. For the adventurous lake explorers in the group, there is an aluminum boat, canoe, kayak, and pedal boat.

**Check-in: after 4:00pm and Check-out: before 10:00am

**Linen packages are available for this cottage, but vacationers are welcome to supply their own. A linen package includes sheets, pillowcases and towels for indoor use. The price for this will be shown as an option in the booking request form.

**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.

**Adult life jackets provided. Guest must bring life jackets for children.

**Vacationer supplies their own drinking water.

**Vacationer supplies their own firewood. Please buy locally.
