Location: Long Lake, Near Bala, Ontario.

Located on the edge of the town of Bala slightly off the beaten path, Cranberry Canoe is perfect for those who want to be in the heart of cottage country for their cottage vacation. It is possible to stroll into town to enjoy shopping, dining, and the scenic waterfall.

The privacy is fabulous; this cottage sits on a large two-acre wooded lot. Just two hours from the city, this lovely three-bedroom cottage offers a comfortable, cozy atmosphere to enjoy the lazy days of summer. With a shallow, sandy shoreline, this cottage appeals to young families or couples who are just wanting an escape from the city to relax. The cottage is located on Long Lake, where there is plenty of boating to enjoy whether it be by canoe, row-boat, or motor boat.

This cottage has an open-concept combined living and dining room area on the main floor. The living room has a comfortable couch to sit back and enjoy the view of the lake. Off the living room is a Muskoka room area that makes a perfect gathering space, having a seating area for seven. This is the perfect spot for lounging, watching a movie on the flat screen TV, or perhaps enjoying a game of Checkers.

The kitchen is well equipped with every convenience of home, including dishwasher, fridge, stove, coffee maker, and microwave. Guests will enjoy fabulous feasts at the dining table while taking in the marvellous view of the lake. The dining table offers seating for eight which will certainly inspire get-togethers, family conversations, and good food.

There are three cozy bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds while the third bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds and a separate twin bed.

Stepping outside from the Muskoka room is a fourteen by twelve-foot deck offering shade from the sun in the afternoon to sit back and enjoy the breeze off the lake. A gradual and grassy sloped area leads to a large sand beach, a great place for the kids to work on their sand castles. A boat of up to fourteen feet can be tied up at the sixteen-foot dock area. The dock is refreshingly sunny in the morning and shaded during the rest of the day.

The ultimate ending to a fantastic day at the cottage is at the firepit where there are eight Muskoka chairs.

Cranberry Canoe is a quaint cottage that has been lovingly cared for and is awaiting the perfect family who want a wonderful cottage experience in Muskoka.

**Check-in: after 4:00pm and Check-out: before 10:00am

**Linen packages are available for this cottage, but vacationers are welcome to supply their own. A linen package includes sheets, pillowcases and towels for indoor use. The price for this will be shown as an option in the booking request form.

**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.

**Adult life jackets are supplied. Vacationers must bring their own children’s life jackets due to safety and liability concerns.
