Location: Whitestone Lake, near Dunchurch, Ontario

This is a sun drenched, classic cottage, situated on the narrows of scenic Whitestone Lake and is within walking distance to all of the amenities and activities available in the village of Dunchurch. This comfortable and centrally located cottage on the main street of Dunchurch, the two-lane Highway 124, allows guests to enjoy the varied activities in the Almaguin Highlands District.

Dun Roamin’ offers a bright, open dining area adjacent to a spacious and relaxing living room perfect for gathering at the end of the day. The roomy dining area seats six and opens out on to a waterfront facing, all day sun, wrap around deck complete with outdoor dining and a BBQ. The living room has seating for 6, a flatscreen TV, DVD, VCR and WIFI. The well-equipped kitchen comes complete with coffee maker, microwave and additional table seating for four. Newly installed central air conditioning will keep you cool on hot days!

This pet friendly cottage has three main floor bedrooms with ample room to sleep six guests. The first bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds, all rooms have a closet. Also on the main floor is a 4-piece bathroom that includes a shower and tub combo.

Downstairs there is a newly renovated recreation room that includes sofa, a flat screen TV, DVD, Bell Satellite, Xbox and a selection of DVD’s and board games. Also on the lower level is a games room, complete with foosball, darts and an air hockey table; perfect for kids, big and small, to enjoy on a rainy day.

The large lakeside yard, located across a gravel cottage road, is ideal for kids with plenty of space for a game of catch or kicking around a soccer ball. The 20ft dock offers an excellent place to swim or sunbathe and can dock a 15 ft boat. This cottage comes complete with three inflatable kayaks, and two paddle boats to make sure no one will be short of fun. Another option for swimmers is the public beach only a short walk away. The firepit by the shore is great for roasting marshmallows, sing alongs, and creating fond cottage memories.

Dun Roamin’ is ideally situated for fishing and boating with a boat launch and marina just a stone’s throw away. Throughout the winter, this is an ideal location for ice fishing and snowmobiling with loads of parking space and groomed trails nearby. Dunchurch boasts many amenities including a library, community centre, general store with gas bar, restaurants and a medical care facility. Larger city amenities are available in Parry Sound, just 30 minutes away.

**Drinking water is supplied.

**Linen packages are available for this cottage, but vacationers are welcome to supply their own. A linen package includes sheets, pillowcases and towels for indoor use. The price for this will be shown as an option in the booking request form.

**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.

**Vacationers must bring their own adult life jackets, as well as children’s life jackets due to safety and liability concerns.
