About Us
We have been on the Internet since 1997 with our first web site, listing cottage and chalet rentals in Ontario. In May, 1999, we expanded the properties on our web site to include cottages and chalets for sale. We also expanded geographically to include sales and rentals outside of Ontario. The result of this expansion was www.cottagesontheweb.com.
We provide advertising space for those who rent or sell their cottages and chalets. We also provide advertising space to those looking to purchase or rent cottages and chalets. We do not make commissions on sale transactions - we charge our clients for advertising space on our web site. Negotiations for purchasing a cottage are done with the cottage/chalet owner and potential buyer. We do not guarantee or warranty the content, provided to us by our clients (i.e. cottage and chalet owners), that appears on the web pages on our site. We encourage all potential buyers and renters to visit the properties they are interested in.
Our web site receives over 51,000 hits a day. We have received a great deal of positive feedback from our clients - they are very pleased with the response they have received from advertising on our web site.

Directions to our office from Toronto:
- Take Highway 400 north.
- At Barrie the highway forks. Stay left and continue north on Highway 11 North.
- Continue on Highway 11 north past Orillia, Gravenhurst and Bracebridge.
- Take the third interchange into Huntsville – Hwy # 60 – exit right ( East to Ottawa).
- Go through the first set of lights.
- At the second set of lights, make a right turn.
- Go straight through the next set of lights.
- Just after the lights, on your right hand side you will see
