Immaculate and beautifully maintained 2,000 square foot five bedroom cottage on a quiet lane, Walker's Point, Lake Muskoka. Lakefront. Perennial gardens and expansive lake views.
Main Living Area
There is a large open concept main living are with beautiful custom
clear pine kitchen (13 x 16), large Muskoka room (14 x 24), and
dining room (11 x 15). The kitchen has granite counters, a large
island, built-in range, Jenn-Aire ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, built
in frig with icemaker and water, microwave. The dining area is
surrounded by large windows on all sides with vaulted ceiling and
walk out to a large two level deck. The dining room is separate but
open to both the kitchen and Muskoka room.
The Muskoka room has a wood burning stone fireplace and walk out to the two level deck. There is an VCR, DVD, CD/stereo, Expansive lake views from all principal rooms.
The large entry hall (21 x 8) has a Muskoka granite floor, vaulted ceiling, access to the upper level bedrooms and to the outdoors from both lakeside and roadside. Attached 1 1/2 car garage. Off the entry hall is a mudroom/laundry room/pantry with full size stacked washer and dryer.
Hardwood flooring throughout the living area/kitchen/main level bedrooms. Pine plank flooring in the dining area. Water is UV treated, filtered and potable.
Bedrooms and Baths
Three bedrooms on the main level: queen (with ensuite bath/jacuzzi
tub and walkout to patio); double, single. The single bedroom has a
built in desk and bookcase and would be suitable for office use. An
additional three piece bath serves the main living area and the
second and third main floor bedrooms.
The upper level has two bedrooms, a large queen with private deck, and a double. A three piece bath serves the two upper level bedrooms. There is also a small pantry on the upper level with bar frig and microwave.
Outdoor Living
Outdoor living includes a large two level deck with wide open lake
views and walk outs from both living and dining room, a 600 sq ft
boathouse sun deck with sun till late afternoon, extensive docking,
swim ladder, fire pit lakeside, horseshoe pit, barbeque. There is
also a charming stone patio roadside.
This cottage property has been beautifully maintained inside and out. The shoreline is typically Muskoka and preferred lake access is from the boathouse dock or swim ladder. There is no sand beach or easy walk in access to the water.
Activities on site or nearby include swimming, hiking, fishing, biking, golf, shopping, antiquing, restaurants, Muskoka Boat and Heritage Museum, Santa's Village, Muskoka Wildlife Center. Ten minutes to Bala and twenty minutes to Gravenhurst.
Families preferred. Minimum age limit for renters. No smoking. Dog friendly with prior approval.
