Chalet style cottage on Lake Eugenia located in the beautiful Beaver Valley only 11/2 hours north of Toronto. On the main floor, the cottage features a bedroom with double bed, and a 4 piece bathroom. Also on the main floor is the kitchen/dining area and a large comfortably furnished living room with bar, wood burning stove, and lovely view of the lake. Cottage is carpeted throughout with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom. A circular stairway leads to the upper level master bedroom with queen sized bed and cable T.V. There is a 2nd upper level bedroom with twin beds.
The lake front has a sandy bottom with a large dock/sundeck. There is excellent Bass and Perch fishing. Included in the rental is the use of a paddle boat, canoe, and 2 bicycles.
At the rear of the cottage is 120 acre wooded area with private hiking trails. Cottage is only 25min away from Thornbury and scenic Georgian Bay and easy access to the famous Bruce Trail. Close by are several golf courses, restaurants and shopping.
Pillows and blankets are provided but guests must bring their own sheets and towels. There are no laundry facilities. Garbage is picked up weekly and recyclables bi-weekly. Cottage has it’s own well with a good potable water supply.
