Gondor Hall is a custom designed Confederation Log cottage at the exclusive and sought after north end of Lake Joseph. This magnificent Four Season retreat is on a sheltered bay with south west exposure and is the perfect spot for a family vacation or corporate retreat. The well appointed kitchen is open and spacious with a breakfast bar, custom cabinets, and large prep area. The pine harvest table is accented by matching corner pantry units and a large bay window. The back door of the house leads directly into a generous pantry with a six foot wall of shelves and a modern chest freezer where you can stock up with enough supplies to last your stay. A new washer and dryer are provided in the laundry room just off of the pantry. A laundry shoot allows you to drop your dirty laundry from the second floor directly into a large hamper waiting below. Gather around in the Great Hall and relax by the 40 ft floor to ceiling wood burning stone fireplace. This room explodes with light through the wall to wall panoramic lake view windows and the doors that open to the upper deck which wraps around to the north side of the cottage. Relax or read a good book on the leather sofa in the library while the kids watch their own shows in the upper TV lounge, complete with satellite, DVD, VCR and entertainment centre. Sometimes it is impossible to get away from your work completely, even when you are on vacation. A comfortable office provides a quiet place to get away from the noise and distractions of family and friends when you have work that just must be completed. Now days the internet is an integral part of life for many of us, both for business and pleasure, and so that too is available at Gondor Hall. The large master bedroom features a TV area with chairs, electric fireplace, and an exclusive, private loft retreat. The upper deck has a wrought iron patio set with various other chairs to relax in while you gaze out over the lake. At the waterfront you will find a great sand beach with shallow hard packed sand and gradual sloping bottom. Great for the kids. There is a large deck by the boathouse, right at the water’s edge, which provides a great vantage point from which you can watch the kids and take in the beautiful sunsets.
