The Blue Mountain Beehive Chalet is located only one hundred yards from the cliff at the top of North Chair. There are three fully equipped levels with six bedrooms.

The FIRST level has four bedrooms with double bunk beds, small but clean. All clean linen and blankets are included. There is a three piece tiled bathroom, shower stall (no tub), a four person sauna and a refrigerator.

The SECOND level has two bedrooms with queen size beds and a bathroom the same as the first level. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker (no dishwasher) and settings for twelve+ people. The kitchen table seats up to twelve people on bench style seats.

A wooden deck surrounds the chalet and is accessible from the second level. This is where the six person outdoor hot tub is located and a propane barbeque. This offers a beautiful view of Georgian Bay and Collingwood area.

The THIRD level has a TV, DVD, VCR and a stereo along with a wood stove with firewood included. There are six by six skylights for a scenic view.

There is parking outdoors for about seven vehicles. A volleyball net is set up and there is lots of open area.

This Beehive is a clean rustic (not luxurious) ALL SEASON getaway.

DIRECTIONS FROM COLLINGWOOD: Take Blue Mountain Road approximately 5 km west towards the slopes. As you approach the south end of the mountain, the road veers right. Turn left and another left on 'Scenic Caves Road'. This is the only road up the mountain. Proceed up the mountain to the top. At the top, the road veers right, continue across the top, turning right on 'Swiss Meadows Blvd. About 3 more km and you enter 'Swiss Meadows' and the second chalet on the right is the Beehive.
