This modest three bedroom family cottage is located at the exclusive and sought after north end of Lake Joseph. Situated in a sheltered bay with south west exposure, it is the perfect spot for a family vacation on the popular Muskoka Lakes. The kitchen is modern with a brand new refrigerator and opens into a bright dinette with large screened windows looking out onto the lake. An apartment sized washer and dryer eliminate the need to take your dirty laundry several miles into town to a laundromat. The cozy living room has a wood burning stone fireplace at one end for those cooler evenings or rainy days when you want to curl up with a good book in front of a roaring fire or watch your favourite television program on a 25 inch satellite fed television. A VCR is also provided. The cottage itself has three bedrooms, the larger one with a double bed, the middle bedroom with a three quarter bed, and the back bedroom with two single beds. In addition to the main house there is a sleeping cabin with a set of bunk beds and a single bed, bringing the total number of bedrooms to four. The bathroom was modernized a few years ago and has a large tub with shower. A large new dock in front of the cottage provides ample space to tie your boat or canoe, and it is ideal for lying out in the sun or swimming from. The water is deep enough for shallow diving but shallow enough with a gradual sloping bottom that it is safe for children. The dock gets the full benefit of the sun all day long and provides a great vantage point from which you can watch the kids at play in the water and take in the beautiful sunsets.
