This traditional Muskoka cottage is located at Norway Point on the desirable south shore of beautiful Lake of Bays; one of the most historic areas on the lake. The grassy level lot makes playing outdoors both fun and safe for the whole family. As you walk down to the lake, you can stop at the large firepit which is conveniently located en route. There is no better place to spend a relaxing evening under the stars, listening to the loons, telling stories, singing camp songs and roasting marshmallows. A few short steps further brings you to the lake where the dock has a covered boatslip, a lovely sand beach and shallow sheltered entrance for the kids. Both the dock and cottage deck bask in the sunshine from dawn until dusk with their coveted southern exposure. There are plenty of fun adventures waiting for you within walking distance to the cottage. A mere 10 minute walk to the Bigwin Ferry, which can take you over to the island to enjoy a game of golf on one of the most scenic and historic courses in Ontario, or to simply enjoy the fine cuisine at the Marine Dining Room. It is only a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction to the Lake of Bays Sailing Club (www.lbsc.ca) and the Lake of Bays Tennis Club. There are also miles of hiking and biking trails right at your doorstep and because of the location of the middle of the 'Y' shaped Lake of Bays, you can easily boat to Baysville, Dwight or Dorset in about ten to fifteen minutes. Located about 1.5 hours north of toronto and located off Highway 117, between baysville and Dorset, where you'll find restautants, LCBO, gasoline, variety store and groceries. Located directly across from the famous Bigwin Island.
