Redstone Ridge Cottage is a warm and inviting, 4-season, private rental retreat in the heart of cottage country. It is newly constructed in 2006-07. Exceptional privacy and beauty await you in this 2100-square-foot junior executive log home. Located on clean, deep Big Redstone Lake, the jewel of the Highlands, this cottage is suitable for that larger family vacation or small corporate retreat, but cozy enough for a romantic weekend.
The main floor is open-concept with a 2-storey, stone fireplace, a great room and includes a well appointed kitchen, island and dining table for 8. There are 3 sets of garden doors to the huge wrap-around cedar deck with views to the lake. Wide pine plank floors are throughout along with heated tile floors in the foyer and all 3 bathrooms and laundry. The master bedroom offers a 4 piece en-suite and garden doors to the deck.
On the second floor are two adult bedrooms with queen beds and a 'bunk' room with one twin/double and one twin/twin for all the kids. There is a loft/games room with futon. All share a Jack-and-Jill, 3-piece bathroom.
Enjoy westerly sunset views up East Bay, on the
extensive dock system. Located on 420' of frontage and 8 acres of
forest, grottos and sheer granite rock faces are a backdrop to it
all.....nature at it’s best!
