Appliances and furnishings: All six cottages are renovated, fully furnished and include:
New beds (queen or twin) with duvets and new matching draperies, new daybeds (comfortable for sitting, folds out to a double bed), linen (bath towels, kitchen towels, sheets), full-size fridge and four-burner gas stove, spring water dispenser with bottles, kitchen cutlery, pots and pans, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, three-piece bathroom with new showers, electric baseboards or gas heat, pine interiors, private lake-view deck with propane barbeque, play-structure, horseshoe pit, bocce ball and volleyball area.
Horizons North Fishing Resort offers its guests clean, quiet and comfortable, lakeview cottages and RV camping sites. This resort is perfect for a fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, ATVing or a sightseeing vacation. Typical guests include individual sportsmen, families and friends and large hunting and fishing clubs, weddings and conferences. The resort shares a four kilometer private lake with a few other cottages and has 1000 feet of shoreline with a beach, plenty of dockage and a floating swimming raft. We have also acquired a non-denominational “Church” adjacent to our property (providing weddings, yoga and meeting space for our guests).
O-Pee-Chee Lake is absolutely pristine and has miles of untouched shoreline and natural spawning beds. It offers fishermen of all levels, the opportunity to catch walleye, northern pike, bass and perch with the help of hydrographical map of the lake provided. There is a fish cleaning house centrally located. Guests can use the canoes at no cost and there are nine motor boats that can be rented either on a daily or weekly basis. Gas and bait are sold on-site and guiding can be arranged. The resort is accessed by road on the shoreline of O-Pee-Chee Lake, one kilometer from Highway 11 North and 40 minutes north of North Bay, Ontario).
