Appliances and furnishings:
Fridge, stove, microwave, washer, clothes-line, large barbeque, 12
foot boat with oar's, small motor available to rent ,TV, VCR, DVD,
30 to 40 movies , 20 acres of bush with some trails, board games,
books for rainy days, some life jackets provided. Five horsepower
motor for the 12 foot aluminum boat can be rented - $150.00 for five
days. Drinking water is provided. Linens and towels are
not provided.
Fairholme Lake cottage is a three-bedroom with a large deck over-looking the lake. A gentle slope takes you down to the waterfront where you can fishing or swim from the dock or enter the lake from the shore. Fairholme Lake is a quiet lake, perfect for enjoying lounging on the dock. The lake is known for it's great fishing. Out in the deeper water you can hope to catch some trout. There are also several other lakes in the area that are great for going for fishing day trips. There is a fire-pit on the shore where you can enjoy campfires and roasting marshmallows. The lake has great bass fishing and there are lake trout to be had in deeper parts of the lake. As well there are many great fishing lakes in the area for day trips. Please respect others in the area by keeping noise to a minimum after midnight.
