Appliances and furnishings: Full size fridge and stove, four-piece bathroom, hot water, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, air conditioner, new barbeque, lawn furniture provided for large deck area. Please bring your own bedding, towels and toiletries.
Cozy, roomy and clean two bedroom cottage. Parking beside cottage.
This cottage offers an in-ground pool, shallow sandy beach, ample parking, mature trees, nature trails and natural pond on 11 acres of private property. There is an excellent boat launch, a fish cleaning station and docking area. There is also a small playground and a coin laundry. the cottage is located within walking distance of a family restaurant, gas station, two general stores and a community hall.
Rice Lake is 23 miles long and is re-known for its outstanding fishing. Numerous weed-beds make it a popular haunt for muskie and bass. There is also abundant pan fish, large and small mouth bass, walley and pickerel.
Local attractions include slot machines at Kawartha Downs, Lang Pioneer Village, the world's highest Liftlock, Serpent Mounds, Alderville Indian Reserve, and nearby golf courses. The Festival of Lights can be seen twice a week in Peterborough. the cottage is also close to a Drive-In theatre, cinemas, antique shops and malls.
