Appliances and furnishings: electric stove, fridge/freezer, television with satellite dish, VCR, DVD, phone, washer, dryer, central vacuum, well water, barbeque with propane tank, picnic table, invisible electric dog fencing, canoe. Blankets and pillows are provided, please bring your own linens.
This home is situated on the eastern shores of Lake Bernard. Beautiful evening sunsets can be viewed from the large, second story, sun-deck overlooking the lake. The huge, shallow lake entry is a safe place for children to play. After a short walk into the lake you can enjoy a relaxing swim in the clear, clean waters of our lake.
Lake Bernard is a relaxing place to take a canoe ride and explore the two inlet creeks nearby. A short trip around the lake will take you to the High Rock Lookout, where you can enjoy a lovely family picnic and the beautiful scenery.
The cottage has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a two-piece en-suite bathroom. There is also a three-piece bathroom in the cottage. The other main floor bedroom has a double bed and a sturdy set of bunk beds. The lower level has a bedroom which sleeps two and a family room with a day-bed.
The adults can view their favorite TV programs in the living room
on the main floor while the little ones are watching their favorite
videos in the family room downstairs. The kitchen is fully
equipped for making meals. Sorry, there is no dishwasher but
while you are working in the kitchen you can look out on the lake
and watch the action. The drinking water at the cottage is
safe for drinking.
This area has many activities and attractions to suit the tastes of
all guests. There are three different golf courses in the
area to chose from.
