Spend your Muskoka vacation in a completely renovated, turn-of-the-century Victorian cottage situated on a spectacular rocky point, with a beautiful panoramic view of a large, Ontario lake. This executive cottage is a superb private getaway in an ideal location just minutes from fabulous golf courses, resorts, bike paths and the amenities of downtown historic Huntsville.

The cottage offers exceptional views of the lake from every room. The southern exposure ensures that you enjoy the sunrise in the east every morning, the western sunset in the evening and the moon as it sparkles on the water at night. The main level rooms all have new hardwood floors and original ten foot ceilings with exposed joists. French doors exit from the living room onto a covered Muskoka porch and from the kitchen onto a deck. Upstairs the wooden ceilings soar to 15 feet. The large master bedroom has an expansive, unobstructed western view of Fairy Lake. A second floor balcony offers treetop seating nestled among the birches, pines and spectacular stars.

Appliances and Furniture:

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, side by side refrigerator, microwave, propane BBQ, water cooler and coffeemaker. The bathroom has a pedestal sink, toilet and an oversized, enclosed shower. In the living room there is a large TV with a DVD. Many of the original antiques are found throughout the cottage. The large master bedroom has a queen size bed. The other two bedrooms have double and two twin beds respectively.

Waterfront:

Two waterfront experiences await your enjoyment. Enjoy a 270 degree view of the lake while relaxing on the private, sunny, elevated rocky point with swimming off of the gently inclined rocks. Or you may chose instead to enjoy the waterfront deck with its shallow, sandy beach area. Small craft can be easily pulled on shore and larger boats may be moored at the dock.  Boat rental is available at a nearby marina minutes away from the cottage.  Fairy Lake is part of a chain of connected lakes: Lake Vernon, Mary Lake, Peninsula Lake offering hours of boating enjoyment. Lake of Bays is nearby.

The grounds surrounding the cottage are level in all directions.

-2 minutes from Deerhurst and Delta Grandview resorts with their fabulous world class golf courses and restaurants
-walk, bike, or drive to historic downtown Huntsville with its quaint shops, waterfront restaurants and pubs, and the Algonquin Theatre for live arts performances.
-easy access to the Fairy Vista walk/bike path as well as excellent biking in the area
-20 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park and the geologically fascinating Big East River
-less than an hour to Algonquin Provincial Park, world renowned for its wilderness hiking, canoeing and numerous opportunities for moose sightings!
