Fern Outlook is perched on the first escarpment and is a totally
private stone cottage (second oldest in area) with magnificent views
of Georgian Bay and surroundings. It has two decks with lighting at
night, a landscaped swimming pool, lots of flowers, playground for
kids and a walking distance to the beach and/or cycling. Lora Bay
Golf Club (Intrawest) is nearby and Thornbury is four kilometres
away with its great shopping, restaurants and vibrant community
life.
The downstairs is open-concept with a wood-burning fireplace for
those cold winter evenings. Beautiful deep windows let the sunshine in. The cottage features French country style of
furnishings. One of the bedrooms has been transformed into a Dutch
room with four single beds (two facing each side of the wall of the
house) and a living room in the middle with a Simmons queen-size
hide-a-bed.
This is the second oldest stone cottage of the area. It has charm
and is an oasis of calm and beauty.
Enjoy snow skiing at Blue Mountain near Collingwood plus a multitude of other winter activities in the surrounding area.
