This "treetop" cottage features a magnificent sun-filled, east-facing, open-concept with knotty pine throughout. The privacy and seclusion provides a great holiday location overlooking Little Kennisis Lake with a wrap-around deck. This year-round cottage has a 140' shoreline with deep swimming right off the dock. The location is close to hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, golfing, and water/ice fishing. It has access to the the Haliburton Wildlife Preserve, Wolf Centre, boat and snowmobile rentals at Kennisis Lake Marina, 20 minutes to a large country store and LCBO in West Guilford, and full grocery service in Minden or Haliburton.
This modern cottage features three bedrooms overlooking the cathedral ceiling with skylights into the living/dining room below. The large modern, fully equipped kitchen has new appliances and ample storage and entertaining space centered around the kitchen island. Two bedrooms have a double bed, the master bedroom has a queen bed, and another room on the main floor has a twin bed, comfortably sleeping seven.
This lakefront cottage is available year-round. The sloping landscape and stairs from the parking lot to the cottage means that you sleep 30-40' high amidst the tops of the great pine and cedar trees giving you a peaceful and tranquil rest every night.
Waterfront: Rocky beach on Little Kennisis Lake.
Skiing: 30 minutes to Sir Sam's Skiing facility.
