Located on a four-acre peninsula with 1000 feet of shore line, this newly constructed retreat that offers unequalled privacy. At the tip of the peninsula is a little cedar bridge which takes you to Sunset Point, a smooth and gently sloping rock, facing west, which offers spectacular views and sunsets.
This log cabin was built from pine trees that were cut from our 180-acre forest in 2003. The feel is rustic however all the amenities are modern. Pine floors and beams, and a large screened-in deck facing west provides great setting for evening dining and relaxing.
The first bedroom features a queen bed, rugs, two table lamps, two stools, and a laundry hamper. The second bedroom features a single plus two double beds, rugs, two stools, floor lamp, two dressers, TV and VCR, HI-FI stereo, and a playpen available on demand as well as a high chair.
The cottage is situated one mile through mature pine and mixed forest on a good gravel road. There are great walking trails. This section of the Ottawa River offers many islands and small channels to explore. There are docking facilities on the property and a boat launch close by.

Waterfront: Ottawa River. Swimming from rocks or dock. Public sand beach 5 min away by car or boat. Canoe available (with two paddles).
