The chalet is roughly 1500 square feet or more, situated between beach #5 and #6 on 41st street and Shore Lane in Wasaga beach.

The main floor contains a living room (approx. 26x12), with a brand new television, cable, DVD player, and VCR. It also has a love seat, single-seater couch and two three-person seaters.

It also has a gas fireplace, which is turned off for the summer.

Going further back is the kitchen and breakfast area. Here, we have a gas stove, full-size fridge, two toasters and a coffee maker. The rental comes with cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, dinnerware for ten people maximum, glasses (wine and beer) and coffee mugs. It also comes with a bottled water dispenser (a full bottled water jug will be supplied).

Next to this, is the three-piece bathroom (sink, toilet and Tub, shower stall). A 30 to 40-gallon hot water tank is included for showers. There is also a washing machine and a laundry tub.  No dryer here. You can hang your clothes outside on a clothesline.

Moving forward, outside the kitchen, is the back of the cottage, landing on a huge deck with tables, chairs and seated benches for breakfast, dinner or both. Here, you have a brand new four-burner, electronic ignition, Vermont Castings, stainless steel, propane barbeque. There is also a picnic table in the backyard.

We also have a firepit to roast hot dogs or marshmallows, surrounded with chairs and logs to sit on.  You must bring your own firewood to burn.

The first floor has all the bedrooms and a two-piece bathroom. The master bedroom has two double beds and a walkout to a deck. This bedroom is roughly 26x14 feet. This room has a dresser and television, as well as a closet for clothes storage. The second bedroom is roughly 9x9 with a double bed and dresser. It also has a side window and a ceiling fan. The third bedroom is all wood panelling and has a walkout to a deck. This bedroom also has a queen-size bed, dresser, and cable television. All mattresses are fairly new.

Games can be played at the back of the cottage and on the beach. No activities are allowed on the front lawn except sun bathing.

The entrance of the chalet also has a deck with four Muskoka chairs and a table.

Finally, the garage can used to store some of your everyday beachware, toys, etc. The gas station, Superstore (Loblaws) Super Centre, Subway, MacDonald’s, Pizza, Shoppers, M&M’s, dollar store and a Roman catholic church are just a three-minute drive from the cottage.

This is our private cottage so please respect it as though it was your own.

Items to bring: Linens, towels and any personal items.

Waterfront:  20 seconds or less walking distance to sandy beach.

Pricing

$750 per midweek (Monday to Friday, based on four people including children). $1,200 per week (Friday to Friday, based on six people including children).
