Appliances and furnishings: Each has a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker). The living rooms have sofas, ceiling fan, and colour televisions, VCR, with free movies, games and books to borrow. There is a three-piece bathroom (hot & cold water), and bedrooms (pillows & blankets supplied, please bring sheets & towels). Each cottage has a side view of the lake, with a propane barbeque on the deck and picnic table and a fire pit. There is a badminton/volleyball net, horseshoe pits, swings and sandbox, patio tables and umbrellas.
Long Beach cottages are a pet-friendly family location, by scenic Sturgeon Lake in the beautiful Kawarthas, just 1½ hours from Toronto and 10 minutes between Lindsay and Fenelon Falls. There is excellent fishing for Pickerel, Muskie, Bass, Perch, and Pan Fish and there is a fish-hut with freezer. The Sylvan boats are 14' Deep-V boats with a 9.9 four-stroke Honda motors, and rent for $50 a day or $225 a week (safety equipment and jackets included) If you are bringing your own boat you must inform us as a dock reservation is required at the Marina.
The large, clean, cottages are on the roadway, and close to the lake. In the summer there is free double-tubing for children and a free paddle boat. All friendly pets are welcome (dogs on a leash please). Area activities include golf courses, boat cruises, go-carts, shopping, bingo, drive-In or live theatres, craft and antiques stores, museums, the scenic boat locks, the Ken Reid Conservation Park, and two area nature trails to walk, bike or hike through. Waterfront: The waterfront lot has a shallow sandy beach that is great for swimming.

| $695 per week for three-bedroom cottage. $575 per week for two-bedroom cottage. $450 per week for one-bedroom cottage. Minimum two-night bookings for May, June, September, October. Minimum one-week bookings for July and August. Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Deposits are $50 per weekend, $100 per week, by Money Order, VISA or MasterCard. |
