This large four-bedroom cottage offers all the amenities and comforts of a vacation home by the water but is still close to the thriving cottage towns of Haliburton and Minden. The main living room has a gas fireplace and in the basement there is a wood burning woodstove. Lake Kashagawigamog is part of the prestigious five lake chain which starts with Head Lake in the town of Haliburton and includes Grass Lake, Canning Lake as well as Soyer’s lake.

• Sunny large open-concept living room/ dining room with cathedral ceiling and easy access to the deck which is child safe and gives a gorgeous view of the lake and the bay it is situated on (South facing)
• lot is private with 132’ of frontage on lake, empty lot on one side and cottage behind screen of trees on other
• Flat lot with gentle slope to shoreline with shallow entry to sand beach
• dock and deck at water’s edge for ease of supervision of small children as well as a swim platform further out for the more adventurous
• cottage and lot are well suited for children and those with limited mobility as washrooms and eating area are on main level of cottage
• large Napoleon barbecue attached to tank for propane fireplace
• separate laundry room in basement with full size washer and dryer
• paddleboat and canoe included in rental as well as a 14 ft Aluminum fishing boat is available for rental
• boat traffic: you are back in a bay protected by a rock shoal further out which directs fast moving boats away from bay in front of cottage but you can still move your boat in and out and you may boat into the town of Haliburton where there is a government dock
• the cottage is located 15 minutes from Haliburton 20 minutes from Minden which offers excellent shopping ( 4 good size cottage country grocery stores plus others),2 small hospitals, 4 golf courses as well as other attractions ( wolf centre, Minden whitewater reserve etc.)
• cottage has Central oil heating with propane fireplace on main floor and wood stove in lower level
• cottage is on safe well which is 220 deep through bedrock and has been tested 000 by health department
• Winter time activities include Sir Sam’s Ski Resort (30 minutes away), Cross Country Ski Trails (5 minutes), and snowmobile trail on lake

Waterfront:  Small, sandy beach on Lake Kashagawigamog.

Pricing

$1,800 to $2,000 per week during July and August. $1,500 per week from September to November and from March to June. $1,200 per week from December to February. $300 damage deposit required.
