Alison, Jake & Kinnon, Wales, UK: "My Family and I had a superb week in this cottage and would like to say that we thought it was fantastic value for money. There really is no better spot for exploring Ottawa and Montreal which are both about an hour away. Alexandria is about 10 mins down the road and has great shops for food , liquor, post office, restaurants etc. etc. and also has a brilliant playground which my 12 yr old and 6 yr old were happy to play on for a whole day! Angela and her family made us feel at home straight away and I can honestly say we have never felt more welcome anywhere in the world ! The cottage itself is clean and well equipped , my kids loved the reclining chairs - and we loved the fact that we each had our own room - after a week of sharing a room with the kids in hotels it was great to have our own bedroom again !! Gas Barbecue is provided and you couldn't wish for a nicer spot to have one ! - all the chairs tables and picnic benches you could ever need are there - in fact we had friends come to visit while we were there for a BBQ and they stayed the night with us too. I highly recommend this cottage for families on a budget who are looking for easy going friendly , welcoming accommodation, nothing was too much trouble, and even if the owner wasn't around, another member of her family would help in any way they could.
