This cedar, two-story lakefront country home built in 1996 has over 2000 square feet of interior living space. It includes two bedrooms on the first floor, a large master bedroom on the second floor, two full bathrooms, combined open kitchen and dining room and a spacious living room under cathedral ceilings. With a large number of windows and cathedral ceilings in most rooms, the cottage provides a very open concept. A smaller bedroom in the basement has a bunk bed for kids. Both a wrap-around deck, which covers 2½ sided of the cottage and a large patio are there to allow the enjoyment of the outdoors and provide a fantastic view of the lake. The area is sufficiently wooded to provide privacy.
The cottage is situated on a large lake in the beautiful Gatineau Hills of western Quebec only 1/2 hour, 23 miles north of Ottawa Ontario, the capital of Canada. With its close proximity to Ottawa it is very convenient for those who wish to be a tourist and enjoy the many sites and activities that exist in Ottawa throughout the year. It is within 25 minutes to numerous golf and skiing centres (closest less than 20 minutes). The village of Perkins, 10 minutes away, provides shopping for food, videos, gas, propane, sports store, hardware store, and some restaurants.

Waterfront: 120 feet from lake on slope. Lakeside facilities include a large deck connected to a floating dock used for both boating and swimming. A rowboat, canoe and rubber dinghy are provided as well as life jackets and other equipment. While most of the shoreline is rocky, a small sandy area does exist near the dock, which could be used for wading toddlers. The lake is 2 miles long and connects to a large lake that can be navigated through longer boat excursions.
