Appliances and furnishings: Bright spacious cottage tastefully furnished, fireplace, electrical heating, fully-equipped kitchen, whirlpool bath, television, VCR, stereo, microwave, barbeque, large deck, aluminum boat, and canoe.
The cottages have three bedrooms, are electrically heated, and perfect for honeymoons and other romantic getaways. The cottages feature pine floors, lots of natural light, fully-equipped Hollywood-style kitchens plus dining room and a sliding glass door walk-out to a spacious deck overlooking the front lawn and the waterfront. The master bedroom overlooking the lake has a sliding glass door walk-out to a small deck. Amenities include cedar-lined bathroom with skylight and whirlpool bath, gas barbeque, romantic wood burning fireplace, VCR, colour television, canoe, and aluminum row boat. Well treed lot, landscaped front lawn, sandy beach good for swimming, and good fishing.
The Shadow Lake cottages are on private landscaped lots, situated on Shadow Lake, a five to ten minute walk from the village of Norland. Located at the intersection of Highway # 35 and Highway # 45, a two-hour drive northeast of Toronto, just 40 minutes north of Lindsay, five minutes north of Coboconk, and 40 minutes south of Minden.
The village of Norland (population 300) has gift shops, an outdoor sports store, a grocery store, bakery, an English pub-style restaurant and movie rental outlets. Nearby, you'll find golf courses, mini putt golf, go-cart racing, antiques stores, flea markets, restaurants, hiking/cross-country trails, a landmark multi-movie theatre complex and Casino Rama in Orillia just 45 minutes west. The closest town is Coboconk where you'll find a large IGA, a medical centre, a pharmacy, hardware store, Brewers Retail and an LCBO. Nearby are Fenelon Falls, Kinmount, Kirkfield, and Bobcaygeon.
Waterfront: Large, private, waterfront lot on Shadow Lake.
