Appliances and furnishings: fully equipped housekeeping cottages with electricity, hot water, refrigerator, stove with oven, wood-burning stoves (wood provided), pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, all bedding, picnic table, propane barbeque, and all cleaning supplies such as dish soap, dish towels, and paper towels.
Birch Lodge is situated in north eastern Ontario, between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, just north of Blind River. Located on a quiet little lake, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. It provides the ideal setting for an evening campfire roasting marshmallows or watching the Northern Lights.
All five housekeeping cottages face the lake and are not more than 100 feet from the water. Open year-round with lots of outdoor things for the whole family as well as sportsmen. The clean lake is great for swimming, canoeing or boating in the summer. You can bring your own boat at no extra charge for docking and launching.
The winter offers some great snow shoeing, skiing, and some of northern Ontario's best snowmobile trails. Cross-country skiing is right at your door and down-hill skiing is only 30 minutes away. At the end of your fine snowmobiling trip or day of skiing, take time to relax and enjoy the sauna and hot tub.
There is something for everyone. Sorry, no pets allowed.
Waterfront: 100 feet to the shores of Granary Lake. Safe and sandy beach great for young children.
