This one bedroom, fully winterized, cottage is a perfect getaway for people of all ages. Located on a beautiful grass covered, level lot, it is conducive to all kinds of fun. Families with young children will appreciate the safe play area offered by the large lawn area and the sandy beach, where endless hours of building sand castles will take place. Spend the day on the 85 foot expanse of dock enjoying the sun and diving into the clean water of Maple Lake.
While staying on Maple Lake be sure to take advantage of all the adventures it has to offer. Maple Lake is part of a three-lake chain and is well known for it's excellent fishing. Provided with the cottage is a canoe as well as a small boat. There is no lack of fun to be had.
The interior of the cottage is completed in pine, setting the mood of relaxation and nature. Additional sleeping can be found on the pullout bed in the living room, ideal for two smaller children. A brick fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere for those cooler nights. Warmer nights will undoubtedly be spent on the front deck overlooking the lake, from which the perfect summer sunsets can be watched from this western exposure.
This cottage is well-suited for older couples who are looking for
a long term retreat. There is a laundry facility, a general
store and beer store located five minutes away by car.
