Appliances and furnishings: Kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. A propane barbeque, picnic table and Muskoka chairs are supplied with every cottage. All have three-piece bathrooms and comforters, pillows and blankets. Sorry, no pets allowed and we ask that guests do not smoke inside their cottage.
Algonquin Woods Cottage Resort is a family-oriented year-round resort located on Clear Lake. 10 quaint, cozy, clean housekeeping cottages scattered over a wooded five acres.
Summer - Algonquin Woods is a safe haven, especially for families with younger children, with its very shallow lake entry and crystal clear water. The children's playground is located right on the sandy beach with toys, swings and a slide. Also available for your use is a badminton / volleyball court, shuffle board, horseshoe pits, table tennis, campfire and complimentary use of pedal boats, row boats, kayak and canoe. Boat and motor and surf bike rentals are available at a nominal cost.
Fall - Enjoy the enchanting experience of the Cavalcade of Colours in September & October, as well as a discount off our regular rates.
Winter - Snowmobiling on our doorstep and snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, skating, tubing, tobogganing, dog sledding all within 10-20 minutes. We are right on Lake Trail 96 (Top D Trail), only minutes from Arrowhead Provincial Park and a short drive to Hidden Valley and Algonquin Park.
