Appliances and furnishings: full-size stove, mid-size refrigerator and freezer, small appliances, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, barbeque, bonfire pit, three kayaks, large canoe, three mountain bikes, childrens' play structure and swings, swim raft, badminton, television, satellite, VCR, DVD player. Drilled well with drinking water.
The cottage features a large 24-foot deck, and a 500-foot shoreline with a large dock at one end. Lots of choice of outdoor sitting places in the sun or shade either at the main deck or down at the water. Lots of interesting day trips and things to see and do in the Madawaska area.
This is a great spot for leisure activities, with Barry's Bay and Bancroft a short distance away, and lots of activities including golf, white water rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking and snowmobile trails. The East Gate of Algonquin park is nearby. Bark Lake is renowned for its fishing -- both summer fishing and ice fishing.
Waterfront: Shallow with sandy beach. Gradual slope ideal for children. On the Madawaska River with sandy beach and large dock.
Skiing: 30 minutes from Mount Madawaska.
Availability: Year-round. Reduced rate of $550 per week in December.
