Appliances and furnishings: brand new stove and refrigerator, microwave, new barbeque, pull-out couch, shower, television, VCR, DVD player, Nintendo 64 and several games, phone, stereo with CD, books, plenty of games and puzzles, 18L bottle of drinking water is supplied, new double mattress in the main bedroom, linen is supplied (bring your own pillows and towels), paddle boat, assorted floaties, fishing rods, a hammock, horseshoe pit, badminton court, new patio furniture with kerosene night torches, bonfire pit.
This Kawartha cottage is nestled up high on a granite rock surrounded by a lush forest overlooking a peaceful lake. It’s small, but clean, and comfortably sleeps seven. It is very private. Bentley Lake is less than two hours from Whitby, just off of Hwy #28, less than five minutes away from the convenience of Bancroft.
The cottage features a 20-foot screened-in porch, a 105-foot shoreline with an L-shaped dock and a 30-foot long grass and sand beach, gradually sloping into the water - perfect for children. Lots of choice of outdoor sitting places in sun or shade either at main deck or down at the water. Lots of interesting day trips and things to see and do in the Bancroft area.
Our guests are strictly families and mature couples. Cats are welcome. There is a kennel less than three minutes away for other pets. No smokers please. Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible.
Waterfront: Sandy beach on Bentley Lake.
