Appliances and furnishings: Each of our five cottages and two-storey duplex (two separate units) has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, cutlery, pots/pans, etc.), a four-piece bathroom, free satellite television, and a propane barbeque outside each cottage(owners supply the propane.) Linens, pillows, blankets and kitchen towels are provided. Bath and beach towels are not provided.
Located across from Dwight Beach on beautiful Lake of Bays, Ontario, this family resort offers two and three-bedroom, electrically-heated, housekeeping cottages.
Enjoy swimming at Dwight Beach, an all sand beach that gently slopes into the water – very safe for children! There are of canoes, kayaks, bicycles and fishing gear available for use. Lake of Bays has excellent fishing for the beginner and the expert as well. We have a large children’s play area adjacent to a soccer-field-size green space available to all for hours of fun. During July and August, we have a Kid's Craft Program, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and it's free!
All of our cottages are smoke-free and pet-free for the comfort of our guests. There are no phones. Cell phone transmissions are clear. High speed internet is available for free.
We are a pleasant three-hour drive from Toronto, easily accessible by Highway 400 / Highway 11 North to Highway 60 East. We are located halfway between the town of Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Only minutes away from hiking, golf courses, horseback riding, shopping, restaurants and artist studios.
