Most rooms have ceiling fans. There is a huge sandy beach in a shallow bay. Canoe, kayak, paddleboat included. Swimming, water skiing, outdoor fire pit, huge two-acre property with magnificent gardens ideal outdoor weddings and family reunions, on-site regulation sand volleyball court, mini pond and fountain, fishing, and ice fishing.
The five-star getaway is built to an R-2000 standard to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We are located in the 1000 Islands area of the St. Lawrence River in southern Ontario, 120 minutes from Syracuse, 55 minutes south of Ottawa, 55 minutes east of Kingston, and 90 minutes west of Montreal's suburbs.
Kayak to nearby inland lake on one of the 1000 Islands. Snorkel, scuba dive at the shipwreck 3km from home, excellent water clarity; numerous museums and historical sites including the Forwarder's Museum, Battle of the Windmill, Fort Wellington, and Upper Canada Village are all within a few kilometres from home. Mini-putt is walking distance from home. Nature reserves, antique stores, great shopping. 12 golf courses within a few kilometres.
Customer Service - After receiving your deposit cheque, you will be forwarded a proper lease, detailed directions, a rental guide and entertainment list including all local activities and the owners' favourite restaurants. In case you have any questions/concerns during your visit, the owners live close to the home and are happy to help you.
This home does not allow pets, the owners have another cottage that does.
